Coffee : Pros and Cons

You may have heard that coffee is not good because blah ... blah ... blah. Or too good of coffee. It can be quite confusing because often there are pros and cons on this drink. We will try to discuss a bit about the pros and cons for you can understand what is really about this coffee.

Pro 1 Antioxidants 
Coffee is rich in antioxidants such as chlorogenic acid and melanoidin which means you can help prevent the oxidation process. Namely cell damage which in turn continues to aging. Of course we need to note that consumption of at least one cup of coffee every day can help prevent aging.


Cons 1 Osteoporosis
Coffee consumption can increase the excretion of calcium in the extra time you urinate. Consumption of coffee in large quantities (above 600 ml) can increase the risk of osteoporosis, especially in women with calcium intake is low. If you are someone who likes coffee, so avoid drinking too much coffee or drink together with calcium supplements.


Pro 2 Diabetes
Drinking coffee has the potential to protect you cope with type 2 diabetes. A study from the U.S. Nurses Health Study found that consumption of both caffeinated coffee or a dekafein can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes in young women. Noteworthy is the coffee consumption at moderate levels.


Contra 2 Blood Pressure
Coffee does not have an influence on people who have normal blood pressure. But a study found that coffee has little influence on the increase in people who have high blood pressure.


Pro 3 Increased Energy and Metabolism
You can get the increased energy due to the caffeine it contains increases metabolism and fat burning that means also higher.


Contra 3 Insomnia
awsome people experience insomnia while taking coffee in large quantities and lead to sleep soundly. But not everyone has the same effect because some are still able to sleep soundly despite eating a lot of coffee.
